Who is Premium for?

Runners who want the full, hands-on coaching relationship: a program built to them, weekly adjustments, and direct access to Matty. All levels, road and trail.

How am I supported on Premium?

Closely. Your plan is reviewed and steered every week, we do a 30-minute progress call every four weeks, and you can email me between calls (I reply within 24 to 48 hours). You also get the AI assistant in your client hub for instant answers and the runner community chats, a main chat plus Road and Trail, with my weekly highlights. Anything injury, pain or illness, I respond within 24 hours.

How is Premium different from Executive?

Premium is hands-on 1:1 coaching with a weekly steer, a monthly call and direct access between calls. Executive adds an intensive onboarding with Running Room gait analysis, owned diagnostics that we re-test each block, your specialist team coordinated for you, daily program reviews, race day in person, and it is capped at 5 seats. Executive is for people who want the whole performance operation run for them.

How does billing and cancellation work?

Coaching is a rolling 4-week subscription, not tied to a single training block or race. It renews automatically every 4 weeks until you cancel. Around two weeks out from a goal race I will check in, and you can cancel anytime, just let me know before your next renewal and you will not be billed for the following cycle. You keep full coaching and support to the end of any cycle you have already paid for.

How much is it?

$350 per four weeks. Premium is open by application, with the next intake in September 2026.

What do I need?

A device that syncs to TrainingPeaks (Garmin, Coros, or Apple via an aggregator) and a willingness to train consistently and include strength work.

Matty Abel has spent more than a decade at the intersection of elite performance and everyday running, coaching 1,000+ athletes to run smarter, race stronger, and go further than they thought possible.


A former Australian representative at the Sky Running World Championships, Matty brings firsthand experience across road, trail, and ultra-endurance events, including a personal marathon best of 2:48 and back-to-back sub-3 marathons in a single week in 2026: 2:53 at Paris and 2:56 at Boston. His deep understanding of the physical and mental demands of endurance sport lets him connect authentically with every athlete he coaches.

Matty combines science-backed training systems with a human-first approach that prioritises both performance and longevity. He is dedicated to helping athletes of all levels unlock their full potential.
